Mercado - Reservar uma mesa

My husband and I came here with high hopes of a beautiful evening with delicious food. We left feeling disappointed. We ordered oysters to start which came reasonably quickly. They were creamy and delicious. The white balsamic gave the perfect balance to their sweetness. Our next order was the scallops. The wait between the two starters was around 10 minutes so it was lucky we were actually sharing the dishes. When the waitress placed the scallops on our table she did not say anything but placed them down quite roughly then turned away. Lovely venue was well looked after... the brie and truffles and the Kingfish were to die for, the service was a bit intrusive to the dining experience. Clearing of plates when not completed felt like we were in a rush which we weren't. The waiter whilst lovely made a point of asking many times whether we wanted more dishes when we really didn't need anymore than we ordered. Overall ambience and experience was very good though having said this.

Mercado was such an amazing restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and the wine was also amazing! Our waiter, Mic, was so friendly and really helpful when we were deciding what to eat! Would definitely recommend !

All great but having a surcharge for credit cards is backwards.
