Merryfellow Inn - Reservar uma mesa

We had a meal at No 3 in the Merryfellow. While the food here was sensational, the service was sadly shocking. We'd booked a table for 8pm (party of 5), and finally got our food at 9.40pm. Additionally, we had to call staff over for everything, rather than them approach us and offer to help or take our order to be seated at our table, for drinks, food and additional drinks during our hour and forty minutes wait. The restaurant wasn't full at the time. I brought it up when the plates were cleared but instead of apologizing the waiter said it is usually busy at that time and they had been trying to stagger orders for the kitchen. Amazing quality of steak with a choice between chateaubriand or a tomahawk. Comes with fries and salad. Great selection of other sides available Brussels sprouts are perfectly cooked with bacon bits. Sunday roast is also delicious with plenty of gravy. Great treat for when you want to celebrate something special :

Sunday roast was the best I've had in Cheltenham in years. Only negative is that the york-puds are not freshly made. Definitely worth a visit.
