"Having lived in the area for 12 years, I have eaten at most of the local cafés and restaurants. However, I always return to El Bierzo for the finest ingredients, professionally cooked and with friendly efficient service. The restaurant is not widely advertised, and being part of the BP petrol station, is easily overlooked. Yes, there is a visible cafeteria serving excellent food, freshly baked bread and pizzas amongst other international dishes, but the restaurant is possibly the best in the area.
