Mitchell Deli - Reservar uma mesa

Really wanted to like this place. Order taker acted like he could care less and just order so I can take a break attitude. Got the Italian sandwich. About as Italian as Subway. Not very good on all levels. What's up with the half gallon of balsamic on the sandwich? Did not like at all. No coke products only the vegan/non gmo etc colas! Horrible!!!! Should give one star for that mess. Not super friendly service, although trying to act real hip.....maybe go try Austin or Portland for that. Not really a good effort or a good sandwich.

We ate at Mitchell's Delicatessen because we had seen it on Tennessee Crossroads. We had been wanting to try other sandwiches besides hot chicken and this was near where we were staying in Nashville. They had a simple menu consisting mostly of sandwiches and they also had a $11.99 a pound salad bar inside. They place was clean and nice but we chose to eat outside since it was a nice sunny day. We enjoyed our sandwiches and would recommend this place if you our in the mood for sandwiches.

Good food and turkey Avocado BLT was mouthwatering and perfect after our hike around Shelby! Not too crowded except weekends and lunchtime has a line. Go earlier than lunch around noon and later after 1pm. No line! Servers were friendly and helpful. Fresh made soup daily and reasonably priced. They have tasty beer on tap and wished I had ordered one.

At 65 years of age I've eaten Rueben sandwiches from hundreds of places, but I ate the best Rueben I've ever had at Mitchell Deli on Mary 15, 2024. Thank you, I work close by and I'll be back...often.
