This is one of our very favorite Temecula wineries which has it all excellent wines and food, super friendly servers (especially Becca! , a gorgeous tasting room and an expansive patio with stellar views. We were so impressed with all of the above, that we joined on our first visit.Monte de Oro has become the perfect weekly meeting place for our rather large (14+ people wine social group. The tasting room is a stunning area to gather in, with a huge palladian window showcasing the soaring views. By far the best food I’ve had in Temecula!! Fun and open atmosphere with friendly staff! Must try the truffle fries and steak sandwich! Hit/miss on the wine but food and environment were amazing.
