New Inn - Reservar uma mesa

Waited a while to be seated as they didn't have enough staff. The table we were taken to was in the bar area and dirty. We asked to be moved to a clean table in the restaurant area. After waiting 45mins for our meals I went to the bar to ask how much longer as we were going out and didn't have time for this. There was hardly anyone there so they weren't busy. When our meals came out the server brought them out 1 at a time! One meal came with a baked potato even though chips had been ordered, another came out cold and was sent back (the kitchen warmed it up in the microwave tried to hide this by putting a fresh egg on it), another was a burger which had hardly any gravy on it. We arrived at the restaurant on time for our reservation. We were seated at a table in the bar area that had not been cleaned from the previous guests. We requested to be moved to a cleaner table. The waitress who led us to our new table had a strong smell of alcohol on her breath. We ordered our meals, but had to repeat our request for chips instead of a jacket potato multiple times. Our food took 50 minutes to arrive, and when it did, it was not what we had ordered. The gammon meal was cold and had to be sent back twice, only to be reheated in the microwave. I stayed at the hotel next door for 2 nights and had mixed experiences at the restaurant. On arrival at 7pm, I was informed that the kitchen was only serving booked tables due to being backed up. I had to dine at the premier Inn that night. However, on my second dinner, the food was good and the staff worked well as a team with minimal delays. For breakfast 1, the staff were attentive and the cooked food was good, but the continental selection was missing pastries as advertised. Visited yesterday, can’t fault our meal at all. Food was amazing!! Service was quick and efficient, staff were friendly and chatty. Will definitely return

very poor meal . curry served but no poppadoms or mango chutney as per menu i will think twice before visiting again in the future
