The food at this restaurant was decent, however, I had a negative experience with the delivery driver. He angrily insisted that I did not know my own address and berated me over the phone because he had trouble locating it. When he finally arrived, I showed him the road sign to confirm the address was correct, but he maintained a hostile attitude and was extremely rude. He insisted that I should provide my "real" address before ordering again. This incident completely ruined our meal and the customer service was severely lacking. I expect some action to be taken regarding this issue and some form of compensation to be offered.

I have been using this restaurant for many years and in fact they provided food for a close friends wedding. I ordered a take out yesterday and was so so disappointed. Both curries had just 4 bits of meat and the lamb was inedible. When I phoned them to complain, they were totally disinterested. Sadly after many years of lovely meals and great service will not be using this restaurant again for take out or dining.

Anyone who remembers the dhansak from Shalimar in the 1990s will thoroughly enjoy this place. I can't get enough of the chicken tikka dhansak here - it's perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. Try it out and you'll find yourself coming back for more, just like me. I drive over 20 miles round trip every week just to indulge in this tasty dish.

Fresh,comfortable,delicious High quality food for a very reasonable price, dining experience felt very comfortable and waiting staff were more than accommodating to unsure we were looked after, Happy to support a family run business like this

The food at New Taj is fantastic. Whether dining in or getting delivery, the customer service is always great. I highly recommend giving it a try - you'll love it.
