Paderborner Brauhaus

Had last visited and eaten at the Brauhaus in 2006 so this was a trip down memory lane. Their is a saying that you should never go back, but this definitely not the case here. The food was even better than I remembered. I had the wild boar in a rich gravy with red cabbage flavoured with a pear and red currant sauce and a potato side. It was to die for. I accompanied this with a large Warsteiner beer which was crisp and refreshing. I then had the doughnuts with pears and cream for dessert and they were equally superb. Here I am not very often. but with every German World Cup game: big apartment plus cold beer and sitting outside: these thunders... Join the Paderborner Party when the German Manschaft continues... even if the World Cup does not pay a visit here, it is absolutely necessary. Large beer for 3€ is for everyone to pay and the service is great.... here everyone is welcome.
