Painted Pony - Reservar uma mesa

We’ve dined at Painted Pony for decades. The food was good but the menu never changed and the service was inconsistent. The cooks sometimes made ordinary dishes very unhealthy, like cooking mashed potatoes in duck fat, so we avoided taking anyone with a restricted diet there for fear of undisclosed levels of salt and fat. We are thrilled with the excellent service and hospitality and look forward to a more diverse and interesting menu with some heart healthy choices under the new owners.

I ate at the Painted Pony twice last week, on my way to and from the Utah Shakespeare Festival. It's one of my very favorite restaurants anywhere! Everything was excellent, but I particularly have to note that the Heirloom Tomato Salad was absolutely outstanding, and so was the Carrot Jalapeño Soup.

Very good food, the outside seating was ok except when a car would start in the parking lot all you smelled was exhaust. It was a little confusing getting there but the hostess was very nice and we loved the food.

Host was not friendly whatsoever. Sat us at our seats- several open tables , we said can we sit inside and his reply was we’re busy in a. Wry rude manner.

Reservation was honored on time and food was excellent
