Pan Chancho Bakery Café

Ordered French toast and it was terrible. Bread was so thick and wasn’t soaked in egg but put on a griddle with some butter. Felt I was eating stodgy bread with syrup. Not like a real French toast. After eating two bites each, as we shared a portion,we sent it back and we’re charged for it. When we questioned the bill we got told we had eaten quarter of it in a snarky attitude from the waitress!!! Won’t come back here again to eat.

The desserts at this restaurant are amazing! I had the carrot cake with walnuts and it was unlike anything I've ever had before. Their rye bread is also incredibly fresh and tasty. The store has a wide variety of options and the service is friendly and great.

Lovely place. Food is great, made from local produce. Staff seemed bothered by us. Asked if we needed things a few times but couldn't wait for our answer. It was odd. Will go back only because it wasn't our first experience.

Definitely one of the best spots in Kingston. The staff is super friendly and patient with all questions. Grabbed a bunch of bakery items and coffee. Will definitely add it to my must visit spot in Kingston.

Intimate atmosphere for a group dinner. Fantastic staff, attentive to all the details. The food was very good, especially the ginger squash soup. Will definitely be back!
