Pho Dang Vietnamese Cafe

I’m not even in Vermont anymore, but this place was my first experience with Vietnamese food back in 2009 (thanks to my friend from Vietnam, Chinh, who also swears by this place at the old location. I came back to VT as a travel RN in 2021, and picking up the combo vermicelli bowl with extra spring rolls got me through many night shifts at UVMMC. Excellent food, very friendly staff. I’m just sad it’s so far away from Washington State :

Nostalgia in every bite! This reminded me of my childhood. Genuine recipes and fresh ingredients that brought me back to when my friend's mom would make me Vietnamese dishes. I ordered the #21 no cucumber with extra sweet sauce and the pho gha. Absolutely DIVINE! Best Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been to in and out of state. I cannot attach photos of the food because I eat it all as soon as I get it.

My family and I love dining here. There are plenty of delicious options to satisfy all of us and fit our range of dietary needs (vegan, vegetarian, and tree nut-free). As a vegan, I especially love how many of the dishes have a tofu option. We enjoy both dining in and ordering to go, depending on the day and schedule. Their service is quick and friendly, and we always leave full and happy!

Ate here last night for the first time, and i will definitely return soon. We started with rice paper wrapped shrimp with lettuce and noodles, and for the meal the rare beef noodle soup bowl with quail eggs. The food was fresh and delicious, service was perfect, and the food came out very quickly. Highly recommend!

Love this restaurant and have for many years!! The food is always good and prices are reasonable. You can dine in or take out.
