Pineapple Room At Cheekwood

Cheekwood is a wonderful and expansive botanical garden. Likely, one of the best I’ve seen. The grounds includes ample space for picnics and allows patrons to bring in blankets and light food/drinks. There’s also an indoor area with restrooms and classrooms where they hold events throughout the year, including gardening seminars, art seminars, and more. Cheekwood also has weekly musical events with food trucks on one of their lawns called Thursday Nights Out. Additionally, the grounds includes the Cheekwood mansion with includes their permanent historical art and decor collection from the Cheekwood family as well as a rotating contemporary art gallery on the second floor. Beautiful gardens! Fabulous tour of the mansion. We will plan to spend more time here next visit. If we lived nearby we would become members. Worth the time money.
