Pollo Tropical - Reservar uma mesa

As you enter, the first thing you notice is the crackling of the loudspeaker when the heavy bass music is playing. The speakers continued to crack as the loud music played throughout our meal. While standing in line to order, there was a heavy layer of dirt buildup on the railing. A dirty black buildup was covering the tile floor and baseboards. The tables were sticky and appeared to have been wiped with a dirty cloth. The benches and chairs were all filthy. You could smell a dirty, moldy smell in the dining room. This evening in Altamonte Springs landed to Pollo Tropical and super disappointed. I ordered the 1/2 chicken dinner with rice and beans plus 1 page. As you can see, in my picture on this... it was $9.99. The cashier then broke the message that the price displayed on the menu is no longer valid and that I would have to pay separately for each page. I asked to talk to managers and she was not willing to honor the menu or propose a solution. So I asked for a refund. This is deceptive business practices and they should not put price change into force until they change the menus first! That's why I have little choice but to have a 1 star rating for the zero-empathy the manager had.

I am disappointed to say that I have never had a good experience at this restaurant. Every time I visit, my order is always messed up. When I try to speak to a manager over the phone, no one ever answers, so I have to return in person to complain. The first time I ordered a Cuban sandwich without pickles, it still had pickles on it. The second time, I requested no beans in my Tropi cup, but it still had beans, plus an extra serving in my pocket. This pattern continues, and it is frustrating to waste time and gas returning to address these mistakes. The customer service is lacking and the staff seem untrained. This situation is unacceptable.

Oh my goodness! The chicken here is amazing! If you're looking for perfectly seasoned chicken served with white or yellow rice and your choice of black or red beans, plus so much more, this is the place for you! I could eat here every day. Do they also offer shrimp and steak? Enjoy!

I hope this restaurant closes soon. I don't know why I keep coming back, but I'm done. I ordered an avocado tropical bowl with black beans, but received no avocado and no beans. This will be my last visit here. I despise this place.
