Prairie Grass Café

Went here for our anniversary, very nice looking restaurant inside, the food was excellent very tasty and well thought out preparations outside of the ordinary norm at most restaurants. My only big issue was the poor service by our waiter Ansar. This guy was so inattentive it was angering. When he would actually finally come by once in a blue moon, he would drop something so quick and leave you wouldn't even have a chance to ask him for anything. It was the type of service you get from someone that doesn't care because their tip is guarantee almost or hates being a waiter. The bus boys were excellent constantly walking around and grabbing things from tables. Our waiter was the only issue but...

Prairie Grass is a wonderful restaurant for a special occasion or if you feel like having a slightly fancier night out. The food and service are excellent! I got the date and fig salad as an appetizer, the Lake Superior White fish with mashed potatoes for my main course, and the banana cream pie and chocolate cake for dessert. I definitely plan on coming back soon!

not enough stars on this side to reflect the amazing farewell and cordial greeting that is prairie rampart. chef sarah her dream team blows the guests constantly while the front of the house greets them again like family. about the high-quality hospitality every time for everyone.

Good food but very expensive for lunch. Cheese curds and a salad 38. Autotipping also applied to carry out. I normally tip anyway, but it's interesting to auto tip on a carryout order for 1 person. Idk. Food was tasty. Hostess was friendly.

Excellent menu. Outstanding burgers. Different soup offered daily. Soups are exceptional and perfect for a light lunch. Loyal customer
