Purple Cafe and Wine Bar - Bellevue

The food were superb! Service was excellent. The only thing is that we observed all the Asian looking guests were seated in the same corner with wines. We saw tables available in the main hall but we were lead to the corner. Then another Asian looking couple came in they were seated next to us. They were brave enough to request the main hall but to no avail. Only European looking guests in the main hall. Really disappointed. Will not visit this place anymore. Sorry! Especially to the chef and attendants, they are top quality! Management emailed and explained the situation. We understand that the seating was not arranged intentionally. We appreciate the thought.

I have eaten at this establishment in the past, most recently with clients. This visit we had the scallops and pork dinners. Both were delicious, prepared and presented well. The wait staff was cordial and efficient, providing a decent dining experience. As with many restaurants, this establishment applies an automatic tip to all meals, not just parties of six or more. I guess this is how it works in our new entitlement society.

I’ve been to all three of the purple locations (Woodinville, Bellevue and Seattle) and the best location is Woodinville. The Bellevue location fell short as it was loud, I requested the bar top but did not get seated there and we were seated in the corner. Service was average as the server knows they will be making a 20% tip which is factored into the bill. All and all, I will not be returning back to this location.

Loved the entrance and interior layout of the fabricated iron and cement decor...Both my wife and I enjoyed a well prepared dinner, it was our fist time dining at Purple. We ordered a Chefs Special that include both starters and dessert, the meal-and service was top notch! KUDOS to Kat our server! hint..dine in the evening for the best ambiance.

Food was good but the service could be improved. We waited a very Long time for our food to be ready and waited to be checked on for a while after we had finished our dinner . It wasn't busy when we were there so I expected a little more effort .
