Food was great. Nice atmosphere. Land roasted chicken best ever. Cornbread was really good,biscuits were melt in your mouth, bf had rutabagas they were phenomenal. Potato salad had a little too much must for my taste, but still really good. My only complaint is that they have a board with the Sunday menu on it, but only one hand written menu, if you could not see the board and although they were polite about it, only got about 2 minutes for all three of us to find out what we wanted to order. Overall but great experience with great food and nice staff. We will definitely repeat customers.

Great food and great staff. I eat here once a week and never had a problem except I am too full of shame that a bunch of people who have never eaten here have left 1 star reviews because their friends had bad service and tried to paint this facility as a racist. Especially after the management has gone out of the way to solve the problem and show that this waitress had a bad service this day. Shame on you

I eat in this beautiful restaurant at least once a week. Food and service are always excellent and I never leave unsatisfied. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves southern food, the staff will feel you at home. The cornbread is always perfect and the baked potato casserole is the best!

My family and I went there for the first time, and the food was delicious. Exactly the flavor I would want in southern food. We had fried shrimp, fried flounder, mashed potatoes carrot raisin salad, corn bread, and more. was amazing And affordable. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

This is the best lunch place for the working crowd! Nowhere else you can get great 'home cooking' in Watkinsville!!!
