We had our 25th anniversary this April and wanted to celebrate just the two of us by having a memorable evening in a 3* Michelin Restaurant. We have been living in several countries around the world and our initial plan was to return to L'Ambroisie in Paris or perhaps to Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester in London for our anniversary. I went to a few Michelin starred restaurants in the past. Going to a 3 star today, i was expecting a reminder of what perfection is. And i got it all right. On all levelsFirst the menu - the chef is Christian Jürgens, his specialty is a special potato dish with truffel. So we got this special truffel menu, with the king dish, the Cube (see picture). Everything in this menu was very fine art to the finest level, from the amuse bouche to the latest patisserie. We always swear never to eat in 3* Michelin restaurants after we always spend at least 4+ hours consuming small portions and sometimes leaving hungry. Well on this occasion we kept the time down to just under 3 1/2 hours and received interesting, enjoyable and satisfying food. All in all we were pleased with the experience and the sometimes overly attentive staff. The food was excellently prepared, an although we opted for the 5 courses vs the 7 courses, there was more than enough food and variety to satisfy us. 3 Michelin star restaurant!so happy we got to experiens this!food was amazing, maby litelbit to mutch cabbage. But if youre going to eat different cabbage, it should taste like thisthe servise was perfect, profesjonell, humor, right on time. I have no words. It's expensive but it's worth it. So happy to have had the plesure to eat and drink and enjoy your restaurant.
