Sam's Boat Pearland

We came here for lunch on a Thursday and sat at the bar. The bartender Em was amazing! She was so attentive and kept the bar area so clean it made our lunch experience fantastic. We had the dozen raw oysters and the lunch fried catfish basket. The catfish was so moist and delicious and the oysters were huge! The Thursday happy hour made the beers very cheap and affordable and they had a great variety of draft beers. We will be coming back.

I tried the snapper with lemon butter topping. The 2 sides I got was French fries and green beans. The snapper was not good at all. The flavor was fishy and it was overall a hard to chew fish, it seemed like it was over cooked or made from frozen not fresh. The fish is a good size it just was not good and not worth the price. The French fries were crunchy and good and the green beans were good. I will not eat here again for seafood.

First time visiting here as my wife had never had crawfish so we got a couple of pounds to start us off. 8 had the fish tacos and crab queso which both were pretty good.This night they had love music outside so it was a bit loud but not too much sitting indoors.Pretty good crawfish and overall it's a fun atmosphere.

I was worried because I thought it was a bar only, but the playground was a hit with my boys. The food was good and the music was good. I would recommend this place for families.Food: 5/5
