Scooter's Ice House

A very nice young man took our order moments after we came in. We were promptly seated at a table. A few minutes later our food showed up and it was all delicious! Someone checked on us for refills on drinks or if we need anything at just the right times. As we were getting ready to leave we were encouraged to check out the Cajun seasoning. Quite entertaining the young man that was trying to sell us some. He won. We would definitely stop by here again as we were just passing through.

Was not at this point, but everyone who regularly goes to Lake Charles knows everything about a Steamboat Bill’s. If God made a Cajun restaurant, it would be quite dared, similar to this place. Efficient. Hurry. And above all, DELICIOUS. No one loves cancers more than me (I am sure much love them so much), and Steamboat Bills are some of the best I ever had. When SE Texans try, Louisiana Cajun (and we do with success), they use places like this as a prototype.

This place was pretty good. The environment is laid back. The food was good. If you get the shrimp boil and its not spicy enough they have more seasoning on the table for you to use.

Food Service was amazing! Waiter was so nice, he made sure we were taken care of! We ate twice here during our visit to Lake Charles.
