Sideways Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

Sadly I have to agree with the last review. Some (not all of the wait staff are terrible (the tall lady is the worst n almost shoved the plate in my face without announcing her arrival! . Even after explaining what I wanted the kitchen could...not get it right and all I wanted was crispy bacon! The second attempt was better but still short of crispy. I have been a customer on n off for 5 years but I think its time to give up. The menu has been shrinking which is ok if everything was fine. Its not. On each of my last 4 visits there was always something not right. I also noticed that some of the cakes were left uncovered at the counter n there was a happy fly feasting on one.... Crowds was good in New Year. Went Brunch with a friend at the first visit to the café. Coffee was not as good as expected. We ordered a large breakfast and a green agitator. Both had 2 eggs except the green agitator had added Pesto. Both had bacon, but were not crispy and usually taste. Great breakfast had additional sausage, tomatoes and mushrooms. The overall taste was not as good as we had expected, given the hype that flushed over this café. Service employees do not have much attention to customers too. It was a disappointing experience.

This is our place when we visit the family in Dulwich Hill. It is always very good coffee and food included, but today they were exceptional. My wife took our granddaughter there who immediately tipped a table. The employees were fantastic, just worry about Annie's welfare. Thank you.

Pretty expensive café. You have a lot of home meals right now, so I got a tiny piece of pumpkin tart (more egg than pumpkin) for $14, extra for salad. Some of the small containers were $30. At least the food is good (not the coffee, that was quite sluggish).

Sideways offered excellent catering for our family when we visited Sydney. The BEST Spanokopita and pumpkin tea plus salads. Super fresh and staff extremely accentuate, even let us heat the dishes with a small deposit
