Singapore Rajah's Curry

Brilliant, authentic Singaporean food. I highly recommend it. I had both the chicken curry which was fantastic and the fish fillet curry which was also really good. It was clear from the moment we stepped in there they had the highest attention to detail with their food and you get to savour that with every bite. I should caution for those with limited exposure to Singaporean cuisine that this is very different to what you might get at a typical Australian-based Asian restaurant - their curries are done with the bone in, which is part of why they're able to get such strong flavours.  The curries aren't thick like many seen in Australia, they are runny but delicious. I should pay attention to those with limited exposition to the Singapore cuisine that this is very different from what they could get in a typical Australian Asian restaurant, their curries are made with the bone in, which is part of why they are able to get such strong aromes. the curries are not thick as many seen in Australia, they are laborious, but tasty. so for some people......

great eating, beautiful people! authentic aromas of each curry with its own character. reasonable prices and left feeling filled. my favorites were the black ink square curry and the salmon fish head curry. we are very happy to have them here in perth, there is nothing else quite similar

fantastic Singapore cuisine, had a great time with the owners after lunch today. the squid masala with the authentic Singaporean fish curry was simply great. would definitely be back for more lush food.
