Food was decent but the management and service a bit subpar. Even though tables are open, they move you to a waiting area by the bar for 15 minutes and ask non stop if you want to order beer. The manager was pretty unreasonable with having a few in our group take to go orders because they needed to make a flight, forcing those in our group to leave the restaurant instead of sitting together, albeit us paying for food. Finally place was full of flies outdoors and even inside making me question cleanliness of the establishment. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for beer.

The food and the beer were good?? We had the beer cheese Bretzel, crispy roasted brussel sprouts, the black bean burgers and not least the beet ricotta salad. Will certainly recommend. They also have outside seats, but with the heat we were sweaty..

We ate here twice and it was both delicious. I love, above all, the Mac and the Cheese and the Brussels sprouts. I tried the Pecan beer recommended by a friend, and I actually enjoyed it (I'm not a beer drinker.

This place was good, I have great time. The staff is nice. Everything was so delicious. I had the Brussel spits and sweet potatoes. With a Crab Dip starter and a Crème brûlée to dessert.

SouthGate is one of my favorite places to eat. After two summers of working in the Yosemite area, SouthGate is my way. Friendly staff, large waiting area and even better food.
