I had some business in the area on 5/18/22 and was hungry for a breakfast sandwich. When I arrived to pick it up I was taken back to how diners used to look when I was a kid. Very old school vibe, which in my opinion is exactly how a diner should look and feel. I’ve been to plenty of joints that were modern and fancy but the food was trash- this was not the case here. The homey/retro feel took me back to a bygone better time. Anyway I ordered two bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches on hardrolls and lemme tell ya, freakin outstanding! They've closed at 2...5 of us. The waitress lets us know they're closing at 2. Thank you. She continues to throw menus on our table. Go to registration area... has enough for us to hear that I would never come to a restaurant 40 minutes before they order nearby food. The other waitress agreed. From for 5 meals and a tip... plus all the appetizers of us. We were loyal customers
My wife and I ordered 2 of the featured items Italian lasagna and chicken biscuits with mashed potatoes. Both entrees were excellent in taste, preparation, and seasoning. These type of entrees are notorious for being excessively salty but neither of these were. The prices were very reasonable, the portion sizes generous, and the service was friendly and attentive.
Yesterday there was a waitress and no single table empty and she did absolutely amazing, so polite for all customers and never skipped a beat. Even with her being alone, most of the time until another waitress was there, we were in less than 45 minutes. Anyway, I'll be back.
