State Street Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

we had a late lunch of 6 here and were the only ones who ordered, but one because waited for eating, and we got a confusing feedback about the availability and one of our sprite was refilled with water. the menu looked great and tasted good, but sandwiches seemed only thin ingredients, the chips that came with were too close to lays. the children loved their food very much, but the apple slices were only 3-4 pounds of an apfel, so I wondered what happened to the rest of the apfel. the atmosphere was great. I only loved eating there; needs only a few improvements to get 5 stars.

My husband and I celebrated our 48th Anniversary last night and there was NOTHING that could have been improved on. I had filet and he had lamb. Both meals were the best we have had in forever. Awesome presentation. Caring and attentive staff (Melanie rocks). The restaurant reminded us of European cafes that we love. Patio with fireplace. If we lived in Alton, we would be such regulars here. Thank you all for a memorable celebration.

honest, really surprised by state street market. eating was phenomenal. I can't believe this place isn't being talked about anymore. I had a fillet mignon, and I'm gonna say happy, it was the best steak I ever had. the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. the atmosphere is cozy and covered. I recommend state street market everyone; they will not be disappointed.

I've eaten here a handful of times for lunch and dinner since moving to Alton several years ago. Each time, I find the food to be wonderful. The owners are involved and make sure you are taken care of! The patio space behind the restaurant is very inviting. My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner here, and they were very accommodating.
