Street Taco and Beer Co

In town for work and visited Street Taco and Beer Co. twice. First visit was a solid 4. Got five various street tacos, which were all great, but my favorite was the pollo. At that point I knew I wanted to come back for a pollo burrito. Went this evening for a pollo burrito and it was quite underwhelming. Burrito as a whole was dry and bland. It was closer to closing time, which is 7pm, but still. And how does a restaurant, especially with a prominent bar close at 7?!Both times I felt the staff were less than friendly, but unfortunately that's becoming the norm. The chips,although free/included, are terrible. I completely skipped them the second visit. Complimentary salsas are just ok.

Kid friendly. Vegetarian friendly. And free chips and salsa from a self serve warmer bin is the cherry on top. Chips are free with $5 purchase. Beer and great cocktails. We got the mangoyita and it was delicious! You could easily just get drinks and free chips and salsa and call if a day! veggie tacos with squash are just ok would be better with just beans and cheese. The guacamole was too oniony and the small container they serve it in makes it hard to dip. But this place is great. We would be be back in a heartbeat. Prices are reasonable!

Loved the street tacos we ordered. Unfortunately, we were there about 10 minutes before 7pm. We were informed they closed at 7pm after we ordered our food. Their Google information says they close at 9pm. Had we seen a sign on their establishment that they closed earlier we would've chosen a different place to eat. We were rushed to eat our food with condensending looks and a bad attitude from the young lady that cashed us out.

The folks at Street Taco know what they are about, great Mexican street food for people in a hurry. The casual atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is always kind.I ate there with my kids yesterday and they loved it. The chips and salsa bar a wonderful too.

Consistently great food. Good service. Location in Tucson, and in Oro Valley next to Home Depot. Our go to place for tacos,mexican rice.
