It’s been a long time since we have paid a visit here, so we thought it was time to do a review. Starters. Prawn Cocktail The prawns were well presented in a glass with crisp lettuce and side serving of bread.They were fresh, tasted great and a generous serving. Homemade fish cakes The homemade fish cakes were presented well with fresh salad. They tasted great, we’re light and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside and worked well with the salad. They also came as a generous portion for a starter. Mains. Jumbo cod and chips The fish was HUGE this is definitely a portion for two. Stuarts of Driffield were at Shrewsbury Folk Festival (Aug 2024). Top quality fish (lightly battered) and chips, freshly cooked. Very tasty, as were the peas and gravy. Great value for money, moreso given this was a festival. Am hoping they return in 2025!

a great end of the day, found a nice friendly chip shop in driffield. have a spam and chips; eating is pleasant and not greasy.

We always come here for our fish and chips in Driffield, they are simply awesome.
