The Barge Restaurant And Banquet Facility

I have recently went to this establishment and did not want to write this review but i actually got sick. So i felt it was necessary. Upon my arrival i was greeted by a welcoming host. He was sweet and welcoming. The place was very nice and clean. The waiter was a familiar face and very nice. The young man serving us water and bread was kind. My only issue was the food. I ordered the steak that came with exactly one dry mushroom. I had asked for the steak to be medium to more well done. My steak was very rubbery and more on the pink side. They claim this dump has been around since 1925. Maybe it 's time to shut it down because the food is terrible, and the portions are a joke for what you pay. I wish I had taken pictures before I ate, but I ordered the Broiled Jumbo Shrimp for $24.95. What a rip-off! I got five shrimp that were more like medium-sized at best, a tiny potato, and a pathetic salad. The only thing with any flavor was the potato, and that was just because of the sour cream. The staff is downright rude, and the view isn 't even worth mentioning anymore. Avoid this place at all costs.

I’d like to take the time to say my dinner at the Barge was excellent as usual . The staff is very friendly and the food was cooked perfectly . We usually come to this place twice a year . I reccomend the twin lobster tails . Food is at an affordable price with a nice atmosphere. A Big special thank you to our waiter Ricky who went above and beyond with his service to make it a great evening for us !

The food was very unpleasant. The steak tasted like seafood. The beans were watery and had no flavor. They used to be good I guess they changed chef or something like that. Cause it was horrible they lost a customer. And the service was awful. The food was horrible, the steak tasted like seafood, not cow, the beans were watery. Very bad they lost a client. Even the customer service was poor.

Scallops appeared to be frozen then cooked. Asked to sit outside and the waiter replied outside is only open on the weekends.
