First time here for lunch today. Super friendly service and delicious food. Had the southern fried chicken off their November menu special. 3 pieces of fried chicken covered in spices. Wasn't too salty or oily which was good. It did come out a bit dark though. Came with corn fritter and I substituted a salad with dressing on the side instead of fries. Much healthy option. Overall a good experience would come back again. I made a reservation but didn't need it cuz it wasn't as busy as I would have thought but it was a Tuesday though.
Love this Place!. I've been going here for years! Service is always excellent (even when they get swamped they somehow manage to make it work) I've never had a bad food experience and the Beer is always excellent (obviously have a good tap system) I love stopping here before Flames Games, and eating a meal and drinking a pint or three with friends!Oh and as a side note the people who go here always seem to be great people!
For just $10, you can enjoy a pint of beer and a pizza at this restaurant. It's hard not to be happy with a deal like that. This place is known for its affordable prices in Calgary. If you enjoy pizza and a pint, especially on Mondays when they have a special, you won't be disappointed. The quality may vary, but considering the price, I have never left disappointed.
I have been frequenting this local pub for years and will keep coming back. I have never had a bad meal here! The staff is always friendly and works hard to ensure your satisfaction. If you are looking for a great, affordable meal (and drinks) on Stephen Avenue, with a laid-back atmosphere, the Bear Kilt is the place for you!
