The Brown Cow - Reservar uma mesa

After visiting the Black Bull, I found the Brown Cow to be quite similar, especially on a Saturday evening when it was a popular spot for men watching sports on TV. The main difference was that the Brown Cow also offered a selection of real ales, in addition to the usual beers and lagers, which we found to be excellent. The service was efficient and the atmosphere was enjoyable. While I would typically rate this pub as average, the quality of their ale deserves an extra star.

I recently stopped by this restaurant looking for a place to watch the golf. Unlike other hotels in the area, they were happy to accommodate our request and put it on for us. It was a cozy, local pub atmosphere that I would definitely recommend visiting with friends. Perfect spot to unwind after a day of walking around.

Called here for a few beers recently whilst in the area for the weekend, nice beer with a good atmosphere and friendly staff, also does food although we didn't eat here, appears to be a busy pub at weekends and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area,

great selection of beer, lovely staff ,we were in couple of times on our visit to Cockermouth good prices aswell

Popped in for a drink on a road trip in the local area. A nice little pub and good meals. Would recommend.
