The Catch Lewisville

Had never been to The Catch before but was in the mood for some seafood so we decided to give it a try. It was really good. We tried a little of everything, shrimp was lightly fried without being crunchy, the catfish was breaded well, and light and fluffy on the inside. We also did the half pound of boiled shrimp with potatoes and corn. The garlic butter was not overly oily and had a nice taste but could have had a bit more garlic flavor to it. The corn on the cob was a bit soggy but still had a nice flavor. The gumbo tasted like it may not have been fresh but still had a nice punch to it. Such good food! I did not like catfish because of past experiences with bad catfish but the catfish here was so good! We had the whitefish and desserts and it was so delicious! Good food. Good atmosphere. Good service. Friendly staff! Loved it! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the key lime pie needs a new recipe. It was not good at all. The banana pudding and beignets were delicious!

Great food everything came out to the table piping hot and seasoned to perfection. Fried shrimp and catfish were delicious, hush puppies and seasoned french fries were the bomb! Worth the drive from Rowlett and we’ll be back again or better yet open one closer too us and you’ll have regulars for life!

My wife and I had date nite at The Catch tonight and loved it. The food was hot and authentic southern fried shrimp. Staff was friendly and we even had the opportunity to chat with the owner. We will definitely go back. P.S. Extra bonus was the free beer and margarita.

The Catch is one of my favorite restaurants and I love the new ower Rick he's cool, laid back,respectful and down to earth and he's all about his food if you've never been I highly suggest you stop by and try it's worth your stop,time,and money
