It had been years since we last went here for dinner, and I saw a recent Facebook post about their mixed grill sharing platter for 2 with a bottle of wine for 49.95! the picture was inviting and reading they were under new ownership we thought we would give it a go on a whim. Wow! We are so glad we did, it went above our expectations, steak, sausage, gammon with delicious charred pineapple, succulent peri peri chicken thighs, roasted tomatoes , garlic mushroom, chips side salad and a lovely bottle of Malbac! We actually stayed here and one of the reasons we did so was because the food was rated highly and in can see why it was really nice food with a great choice of dishes and not bad value for money

We have been there twice in the last few weeks and couldn't be happier with the food and value. One of the best places in the area, and it has considerable local completion, highly recommended.

Wednesday is mix grill platter night with a bottle of wine £50 . It was amazing could not fault it totally delicious. Would definitely recommend. Deserts were amazing too

This friendly pub in Oxfordshire is reasonably priced and serves proper ales. It's nice to have another local option like this one.
