Room was great, and facilities pretty good Stayed at this place for just the night on the weekend and it was pretty good. I have been to several conferences here, breakfasts but never stayed in the rooms. I managed to be upgraded to one of the spa suites which are very spacious, and the separate lounge and bedroom areas were great. The spa is not that big, but adequate if thats what you are looking for. The bed was comfortable, and the blackout curtains were great for a sleep in. The outdoor pool wasn't too bad, and the spa was ok but could have been a bit hotter in temperature. This restaurant is a fantastic choice for those staying in Brisbane. I selected this location due to its proximity to the botanical gardens and recommend booking a room on a higher level to enjoy views above the tree line. I stayed on the 8th floor and was delighted to wake up to a lovely view. Although the exterior of the building is showing its age, it exudes a charming seventies vibe. Inside, the decor may border on tacky, but somehow manages to pull off an old-world charm with ornate carpets and cabinets displaying interesting knick-knacks. Although the restaurant was established in the 1960s, it remains a charming place to stay. The establishment has been meticulously maintained and has received suitable upgrades over the years. The room and bathroom were delightful, and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and eager to assist. The breakfast options were impressive, with a variety of fresh hot and cold dishes to choose from. It was one of the best breakfast experiences I have had. The lounge bar provides a great spot to grab a quick drink or light meal. I will definitely return to this establishment when I visit Brisbane again.

While the restaurant is on the smaller and more traditional side, if you can look past that, you'll find that it offers great value. The beds and linens are excellent, and there are three pillows of varying thickness for your comfort. The lack of a mini bar is made up for by the presence of basic snacks and coffee. You can order room service 24 hours a day using a tablet. The fish and chips are the best I've ever had, and the breakfast is also delicious. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful, making for an awesome overall experience.

This is a classic good hotel. No wonder the rating is high. Complimentary drinks at the bar to relax. Room is clean and quiet. Nice amenity and yummy cookies everyday. And rates are very reasonable!!! Next to botanical garden. I’d love to stay here again :
