lunch good pub grub served with a smile and with good ales. nothing remarkable here, just a real local pub. evening open mic night. .a great greeting for us as two holiday busts. unusual for some mic nights there were no prima donnas just real and talented musos over many styles. a truly remarkable audience and musicians who stayed for the whole evening, not only to do and leave their little bit. an excellent night in a real pub thank you.

Popped in today after a visit to the lovely castle drogo. Lovely friendly welcome.lovely pub and had a an amazing lunch.i recommend a visit .we will be back

We had dinner and a few ciders here. The landlord was very friendly and food was typical pub club and tasty. The pub was busy with lots of chat and dogs.

Great. Lovely history of the old landlady Mabel who served for over 70 years. Shes buried in the graveyard next door. Lovely pint

Real ale straight from the barrel. Real home cooked chunky chips. When back in the area will go there again
