Wednesday, early evening, visit impromptu. the bar area was quiet, the restaurant was empty, but was apparently completely booked for later evening. Nevertheless we were accommodated (we were only two) and ate in the restaurant. the eating was very good and the Welsh Rarebit stars were amazingly good, rich aromatized and gooey chick on perfectly crunchy toast with a few nicely dressed salatbits. the bark in the stroganoff with rice was tender, I would have expected that the sauce is somewhat thicker, but the smokey paprika flavor was good and creamy. the honeycomb parpagei, perfectly balanced with Heidelbeer-Coulis was an ingenious finish to the meal for me, while my partner decided to be ch...

We had lunch at Fuchs and experienced a wonderful atmosphere with its traditional decor, including low wooden beams. We chose to sit inside, although there were outdoor seating options as well. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. There were four of us, and we all remarked on how excellent and generous the food was. While the menu didn't offer an extensive selection, the choices that were available were thoughtfully curated. Overall, it was a lovely and memorable afternoon, and we will definitely return for another visit.

I had the most delicious roast beef dinner with Yorkshire pudding today. The beef was perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty, accompanied by fresh, crispy vegetables. Our party of five, along with our dog, received a warm welcome from the friendly staff. The apple crumble we had for dessert was fantastic. It’s the kind of pub where you want to spend the entire afternoon and then stay for the night. The beautiful walks in the area definitely make it a great destination to unwind. I can't comment on the food, but it's a nice spot for a drink in the midst of a fantastic hiking area. The selection of beer and cider was limited, but what was available was well-chosen and well-maintained. The parking lot was adequate, and it was very user-friendly to request parking in advance while we were on foot.
