We had our wedding reception here in march, Carly was lovely and very professional. The food was made from a menu i had made up and she made everything i requested. Her vegan cheesecake was such a hit! Can’t thank them enough for making our day so special lots of lovely memories i can take away from the day.

overnight I stayed here for work and I really couldn't blame the place nice staff, beautiful room, very welcoming. high point of our stay was their pizza, top notch anyone would recommend to everyone. there was also an open-mic night that made the evening complete with very talented musicians.

Warm welcome awaits you here I really enjoyed the ribs, fries and coleslaw all locally sourced. My other half had steak and ale pie, mash, swede mash, cabbage and broccoli with a gravy boat looking forward to enjoying one of the other offerings from the new menu when it is up and running.

Callum the waiter although very busy doing bar work as well, he was very polite and attentive. The food was very good, but the chicken burger was so big that I only managed a slight reduction in its size . The restaurant was a bit chilly, but overall a pleasant evening

a very happy reception, from the rental carley. lively and friendly pub, with a beautiful garden for families. we had the burger who was very good. good real ale. would definitely recommend.
