I first called into this pub. it has just reopened after a refit and is very nice. Although we did not eat at this opportunity, we will return to it in the future. menu had something for everyone. the personal was pleasant and the atmosphere in the inner was beautiful at our visit. update 21feb2022 was taken for lunch and the food was excellent. the pub was very busy with many reserved tables, which is a good indication of how popular the pub is. we had blt sandwiches with chips and they were delicious. other tables had full grinding times of fish and chips to steak and each plate went empty again, another good sign. we will soon be back for dinner, as well as drinks. this pub has a beautifu...

we had a meal here in the week and we couldn't mistake her, I had rinder bourguignon my fiancée had rump steak and they were both beautiful. the beer was excellent and the staff was friendly. the pub has a great, relaxed atmosphere and the decor is really nice. overall we really enjoyed it here and are going to definitely be back.

came for a quick drink with the woman, quite animated bar, but took an old to serve finally got my drinks. sitting was not the most comfortable. eating was ok-pie and chips twice, large enough portion but served warm. average total

5 stars alone for bass on tap, a win in any British pub book. only my opinion, because otherwise, beautiful pub to a pint in, with a good selection of ales!
