The Kibitz Room - Reservar uma mesa

This was my first time at The Kibitz Room and I only went because I hear it mentioned often by others. It is a cute little deli, however, the employees weren’t too too nice. The tables looked a mess when we came just dirty, not cleaned up. I thought the entire place was kosher since it’s a Jewish deli but it’s not which threw me off a little since I was looking for Kosher. We still ordered the Kosher choices they had. We got the pastrami and bologna sandwich they were good but nothing over the top and the price is not worth it in my opinion. I shared lunch with a friend at the Kibitz Room on 12.21.23. This place gets crowded and it's easy to understand why. Great food, large portions, friendly service. I enjoyed the matzo ball soup and the beef tongue sandwich with onion on rye. While many might wince at the notion of tongue on a sandwich, when served, and if someone didn't tell you, you would just think beef sliced thin. I love with onion and spicy mustard. The pickle bar features pickled tomatoes, half sours and regular dill pickles. The restaurant itself is typical deli, the food's steals the show, not tables, chairs and decor. Don't go there for atmosphere go there to nosh! Great deli that I happily recommend.

Our of all times get chicken noodle soup, handful of times chicken is rubbery overcooked. What's up with this new 3% charge when you pay with a card? They quote your total then charge a higher AMT on your card. When I inquired she pointed to sign that was turned away from me that I would have never seen. They need to quote the total AMT so you know how much is coming out of your bank acct. Full disclosure.

Met a friend for lunch. Corned Beef sandwich was fabulous! Piled high just like the New York delis of my youth. It was close quarters in the small deli and very noisy. There was a woman clearing tables, which I assumed was a waitree. She was right on top of the dirty dishes and turned over tables very quickly.
