The Knox Arms Public House

We had a great day at The Knox yesterday, we went for dinner with family and friends. All the staff can’t do enough and they make you feel so welcome. I can’t recommend it enough, the food atmosphere and overall feel is fantastic. The menu is so brilliant, great pizzas for kids, Sunday lunch and fab specials too. It’s really is a gem, a country pub but just a couple of miles from town. We also got to watch the rugby which was a plus, even though they lost! Can’t wait to return next week.

The restaurant had a charming ambiance with 80s music playing in the background, which added to the experience. The food was outstanding, and the staff was very accommodating to any dietary restrictions. The classic roast dinner was exactly what you would want to enjoy on a Sunday.

This was our first visit with to the pub and we brought friends, on the basis of reviews we had read; this is now local to where we live and it did not disappoint! The staff were lovely and welcoming and the Sunday lunch, delicious!

Room booking. We booked a room and catering for a baby shower, the room was perfect, the service exceptional and the food was amazing. I will definitely use this venue again for any future celebrations.

As a family we have been here a few times, the meal tonight was up to standard,an excellent meal and and excellent staff.
