The Little Angel - Reservar uma mesa

We have been coming here for drinks and casual meals for 20 years, on and off. In that time it has ranged from the best run pub in Berkshire to dreadful. The current incarnation is …well…not the worst. Thats the best I can say, really. Since the latest landlord moved in there hasn’t been so much as a lick of paint and it is sorely needed, esp in the ladies loos. There doesnt seem to be much pride in the place, tables uncleared, cushions unplumped from the night before, toilet roll trailing around the loos, even just after opening. Get some decent cleaners. But my biggest gripe is, there are just NO bar snacks. Nothing whatsoever. How can you call yourself a pub, how can you sell alcohol with...

I had an incredibly tasty lunch today. Every bite, from the complimentary homemade soda bread and whipped butter, to the delicious main courses and coffee, was fantastic. The service provided by Alex and the rest of the front of house team was outstanding – they were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant soon, before it becomes too popular and crowded.

one of the beautiful pubs I have here where they would make plans to go again and again! best in summer or early! henley of thames is a beautiful city and the little angel is his charm!
