The LOCAL Kitchen Drinks of Wayland

I have enjoyed dining at both lunch and dinner at this handy local spot often, and have usually been quite pleased with the food and service. This Christmas week, perhaps due to the myriad staff/supply/COVID issues I've observed elsewhere, my experience was not quite up to par. Prices are up, ingredients are down, and our server was missing in action for most of my meal. I won't write off The Local just yet, but hope that they bring their game back up in the months to come.

large and delicious, gluten-free pizza delicious. only in part were the fries that came with the burger: mostly black, soggy and drop in oil: oiltemp might be too low, perhaps too long left maybe, and certainly not let off. but good meal overall and very good service.

a pleasant lunch had not been in the region in some time and was pleasantly surprised. I had burger and pommes at the bar. the service was very good and timely. many good laune. a fixed place for a casual lunch.
