The Rooftop Restaurant At The Royal Shakespeare Company

We really enjoy this restaurant, however, I was disappointed with my choice of food (vegetable stew and greens) as it was too salty for my taste and I couldn't eat the greens. I suggest allowing customers to adjust the salt content to their liking. I mentioned this issue to our very friendly Australian waitress when returning the item. Overall, the food was good apart from this issue.

The soup was served lukewarm, making it just barely enjoyable to eat. The main course meat was fatty and the potatoes were very dry, requiring a jug of gravy to moisten the dish as a whole.

The table, food, and service were all excellent. Our requested table was reserved and ready for us on arrival.
