We rang up stating we had a dog and wanted to come gave a meal. The young woman on the phone said they had a table at 5.45. When we got there they sorted a table out for us after we told them we had a dog and we waited so they could accommodate us . On sitting down we was told was going to be a minimum of a hour wait for food we decided yes . After a hour waitress came to take order only to be told there was no Sunday roast left . We went off the main menu and gave the order. After another 45 min we asked where the food was only to be told they had lost the ticket and the order gad not gone in .my parents are 82 and 80 and this was bad . We are from Mansfield and were taken there by our relatives.Its a lovely pub,has a good atmosphere,a mix of all ages,the food was great ,the drinks were great and the staff were exceptional.I was let down by a taxi company for the journey home ,but the pub manageress went above and beyond to make sure we got a taxi home.it wasn't easy as there were 5 of us ,but she came up trumps.What a breath of fresh air it was to find a place like this with such great customer focus and service. We will be back again next time we visit Blackpool.Thank you to all the staff there,you are all doing a great job

The meal we ordered was a sizzler dish with fried onions and mushrooms with a rump steak on top and a side of double fried chunky chips and half a tomato! The steak was fine luckily but the onions and mushrooms were not typically fried I would say boiled as they had no taste at all and the amount of water on the sizzle plate which your food was sat in made the chips very soggy and tasteless so a waste of £28

Just had a perfect meal, celebrating my birthday and my husband and I 44th wedding anniversary. We both had the lasagna which is just the best. Sides of skinny fries and onion rings and coffees. It was worth every penny. Piping hot delicious food, great service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fabulous service and the food was exceptional. Hot, consistent, good quality, well presented! Best meal out we’ve had out for a very long time.
