The Speedwell - Reservar uma mesa

I visited the place with a friend who had not been in the bar for 40 years. She described it as a real pub. Indeed it was. Excellent service and reasonably priced. The side room, we were in had beautiful oak panelling and was occupied by about 6 young men on their way to London for England v Scotland football. They were full of fun. A great pub. I hope to be back

Excellent pub with an excellent, varied, clientele. Been drinking there for many years and the present Landlord has worked very hard to maintain the pub's past high standards. Friendly staff who treat everyone with respect and make them feel welcome. Dundee"s best pub by a mile. 29/12/2022 still going strong.

If you want real pub experience, with is regulars, and old original architectural features, this is the one... The only pub in Dundee I really enjoy going to! It's a nice atmosphere, good, mix crowd of people, friendly staff...

as good as ever, fantastic 80shilling and a good choice of glendronachs. outside a table you can see a road to the railway bridge.
