The Stalbridge Arms

We scheduled a reservation for two at 2:00 on Sunday afternoon and the staff were very helpful and friendly in assisting us. We were promptly seated in a charming village pub upon our arrival. The staff was also very accommodating when we placed our order. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection, and we didn't have to wait long. The prices for both the food and drinks were very reasonable, and the service was fantastic. The staff was attentive to our needs throughout the meal. The entire pub was clean and inviting. I must say, the steak dinner I had was the best I've ever tasted. Well done, Stalbridge Poole!

After a series of negative experiences at a local pub, my partner and I decided to seek out a new venue that we could make our regular spot if we enjoyed it. We finally gave the Stalbridge Arms a try six months after new management took over, and what a pleasant surprise it was! The food was absolutely fantastic, and the family running the pub were incredibly kind and welcoming. The staff were accommodating and even allowed us to bring our dog inside. It's a delight to have this pub as our local, and we look forward to every visit. We have yet to have a bad meal there.
