Tommy's Diner - Reservar uma mesa

The first time I went there was with a gang of friends. The same night I was really hungry so I thought the food was ok but not great. There was live music (The Puppini Sisters) a group like the Andrews Sisters and they were really good. The deco is nice, real 1950's diner style, good music,(last night they showed an Otis Redding concert and then a Santana concert : 2 big screens on each side of the big restaurant so no matter where you're sitting you can see.So I went again last night, Sat. night...big mistake. I came here for the first time during the school mid-term holidays and arrived late for lunch so bit off-peak around 2.30pm. The place was quite quiet but the atmosphere was still fabulous - 2 large screens were showing "Happy Days", reminding me of my teenage years and although my teenager girls didn't know it, they loved the whole ambience. We came here since my daughter had already been here recently for a birthday party, and Bewitched was on the screens.Service was a bit slow but guess that was due our late arrival. American food at its best. very fast service!! but you have to book after 7.30 as it gets VERY busy!!
