Turning Point Of Doylestown

I ordered a waffle with fruit and was informed that it could be prepared as vegan. Due to my milk allergy, I can quickly tell when someone is not honest about the ingredients. Despite being in a group of 6 people, my food was the last to be served, with most of the group finishing their meals before mine arrived. Unfortunately, after just 15 minutes of eating the "vegan" waffle, I experienced a severe allergic reaction and spent the entire weekend bedridden. This only happens to me when there is dairy involved, so I know that my waffle was not prepared correctly. As a result, I have lost all trust in this restaurant and none of us will be returning.

I was part of a group of 6 people, and everyone else received their food long before me. Most of the group had finished eating when my "vegan" waffle finally arrived. Within 15 minutes of eating it, I became extremely ill and had a severe reaction that left me bedridden for the weekend. Our experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. I tried to take my 95-year-old mother to lunch, but despite there being several open tables and only two parties waiting, we were told we would have to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Even though I asked if we could be seated right away so my mother could rest her feet and have some water, the manager insisted on us following the rules. It was disheartening to see that no exception could be made for her age and frailty. Shame on you for your lack of compassion.

An example of Elly's attention to detail that truly impressed me was when I noticed that the glasses were often cloudy at this location. Elly promptly identified the issue as a need for a water softener, and after contacting headquarters, she had one installed. As a result, the glasses are now clean and sparkling. Elly always takes a proactive approach, and her positive attitude is truly infectious.

I decided to try the Cuban sandwich because they offered a unique variation of it. Personally, I prefer the traditional Cuban sandwich. While it wasn't terrible, I still prefer the classic version. Overall, I enjoy dining at the Turning Point and would recommend it to others. I have visited this restaurant before and had a great experience.
