Uncle Dan's Bbq Ribhouse

As always, the service and food were excellent and met my expectations! I have been coming to this restaurant since at least 1975, and I am never disappointed, no matter how much time passes. It is reassuring to have a place where I can consistently count on high quality food and service. Unfortunately, due to covid, some of my favorite smokehouse items have been removed from the menu, and I do miss them. Nonetheless, I am grateful to the owners, family, and staff for maintaining their commitment to excellence and for their loyal customers. Highly recommended!

I was visiting Waco from out of town and wasn't familiar with any BBQ places in the area, so I turned to Google which led me to Uncle Dan's. We arrived after the lunch rush on a Friday, so thankfully there was no wait. The food was tasty and although we didn't try a wide selection, our hunger was definitely satisfied. The service was excellent both at the counter and during our meal, with a gentleman kindly offering to clear our table as we were finishing up.

We ordered brisket and pulled pork for a party of 30 people to celebrate our grandchildren's graduation. The meat was incredibly tender and delicious. The service was excellent, and there was plenty of food for 40 people. I was impressed by the quality of the meals. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant again, as the price was unbeatable.

I ordered 2 chopped brisket sandwiches and a side of baked potato chips. Unfortunately, the meat was not good and should have been thrown away. I went through the drive-thru at 7:05 on a Friday night and my order number was 165.

I have been in Waco for almost a year and this is by far the best BBQ I have had. The white coleslaw is amazing and the BBQ sauce is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. It truly matches the Texas taste.
