The garden, bar, restaurant, and pool all seem like something out of a novel. The rooms are comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered. Pillows, linens, mattresses, water pressure, etc., are all perfect. The location is away from the noise of Montreux, yet it provides easy access to any part of the Riviera. The hotel also has its own parking. However, there are three aspects that made my stay (four nights) very uncomfortable: 1. The hotel is a bit away from Montreux city center, but not a problem even if you don't have a car because it is easily reachable via the train or the funicular. As it is located high on a hill, you can enjoy a wonderful view over the lake, particularly when wandering in the nice garden of the hotel. Service is perfect, room are old-style but comfortable and very clean. Just be aware that there is no double bed, only two single ones close to each other. Only the choice of the breakfast buffet could be improved, otherwise everything was perfect.

A spectacular hotel with delicious food. Very spacious rooms which stunning view of the alps and the lake. Will definitely visit again. The staff was super hospitable and the owners were always around to keep an eye. Old world charm.
