This must be the best value for great food in the area. Dining here is consistently excellent and very affordable. The menu is intriguing, featuring thoughtful and creative dishes that are all cooked to perfection. This gastropub offers a fantastic dining experience without the high prices, all within a beautifully restored old pub where the original pub atmosphere is still preserved. The waiting staff are always friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.

We had a lovely lunch time meal in garden on 22nd April. The food was very good and the the G&T perfect. The staff were pleasant and helpful. As yet the garden is not the most attractive lunch place in the village, but I am sure they will get round to smartening it up. The present management have not long taken over,

The chef here is incredible! She's on par with those at top restaurants in London or Paris. I had the Sunday roast with Wiltshire loin steak, and it was outstanding. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are very friendly. I want to give them a big thank you for this wonderful experience!

Feel them very happy to live in this pub locally, eating is really good and the pub itself is a jewel.
