We have been using curbside pickup since it was introduced during the covid pandemic. Being seniors, we have found this service to be very convenient and have been highly satisfied with it. Ordering through the app or website is similar to creating a grocery list, and you can specify any substitutions for items that are not available, or request no substitutions at all. While I wish the process for making substitutions was a bit simpler (you can only do it during checkout), it still works well for us. First. I adore this store, any location I've been in really. Workers are always super friendly and helpful with questions about fruit, where items are located and cashing out. Tonight I wanted to give a shout out for the Tres Leches Cake which is FABULOUS! It's been available from Boston to Worcester to the Hadley locations and is always an item I pick up. I just realized .... I should Yelp it! It's so creamy and delish, once it gets to room temp the base of the cake slice oozes a creamy, milky cream that's superb! It's near the bakery area but always in the separated refrigerated section and sold by the slice. Cold cuppa moo juice and voila¡ heaven !

I was surprised to learn that not only does Whole Foods meat department in Hadley, MA not routinely carry USDA Prime meats, but it doesn 't like to order it for the customer either. This morning I tried to order a USDA Prime prime rib and was told that they do not have it, they cannot/will not order it, and it is almost impossible to get it, because 99% is sold to restaurants. I got off the phone with Whole Foods and ordered what I needed from Wegman 's without any problem. In the future, I will not be buying meat at Whole Foods. They used to have great meats. But now I can get what they have at any local market.

Yeah, I shop here for particular items they carry. But after my last trip there, they deserve the lowest rating possible. For a company that presents itself as health- and wholesome-oriented, it sure shows a flagrant disregard for their shoppers that they're blowing an oil diffuser into the faces of anyone who walks by the soap aisle. Disgraceful. They're clearly more interested in pandering to and making an easy buck off the readily-mystified, than in standing for health and people's need for clean, contaminant-free air. I should have called the board of health.

The restaurant is doing an excellent job during the COVID-19 outbreak by cleaning the credit card machine and checkout counters after each customer, as well as limiting the number of people allowed inside at once. I noticed they were also regularly cleaning shelves, doors, and shopping carts. All employees are wearing masks and remain friendly despite the challenging circumstances.
